My Monday Movie Mix-Up Mash-Up #3

Nice one. But it´s a fake. I found this on worth1000.com. They´re doing photoshop contests on their website. But it would have been a great movie mistake if it was no fake!

Movie Review: Halloween (2007)

Director: Rob Zombie
This is what made me wanna see it. After "House of 1000 corpses" and "The Devil´s Rejects" I thought this movies MUST be good. Even though it´s the 138th sequel of Halloween.
To put it briefly, it can´t, by no means, keep up with the touchstone of 1978.
The movie itself was kind of dull. Everything was way too predictable. However, it was interesting to see how Michael grew up. But to be honest, I thought it was a good idea to tell the viewers in a quick and not too comprehensive way how he grew up in the first part in 1978. That made it kind of misterious. And for a story that was supposed to take place in the mid-70s this movie was a bit too new-school in my opinion. But after "20 years later" and "Resurrection" what can you expect...
Another interesting fact is that Rob Zombie couldn´t make a decent movie with a budget of $15,000,000. The first Halloween movie, which was directed by John Carpenter, became a cornerstone in the horror movie genre with a budget of only $325,000.
So, if you´re a real Halloween-fan and you´re interested in Rob Zombie´s attempt/version, go see it. If you want to see a great horror movie, stay at home or get the dvd some day.

I WANNA BE #2: Samuel L. Jackson

I wanna be Samuel L. Jackson because...

- then it would be me who stated the cooles quote in film history ever!

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

- he was part of the Civil Rights Movement back in 1968
- then my official homepage would have PageRank 6!

My Monday Movie Mix-Up Mash-Up #2

Wow, this video´s a classic. It was fun watching it since there are so many movie mistakes in it. And most of them are just stupid. After watching that movie, hollywood just seems so unprofessional.

My Monday Movie Mix-Up Mash-Up #1

A nice movie mistake in a movie that should be familiar to everyone. "Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl". I saw this picture and I really have to admit, this man must have gotten lost. Cowboy hat, white t-shirt, sunglasses - looks like a mixture between a city slicker and a cowboy on the wrong holiday cruiser. Crew on the set while shooting - that´s definitely something you have to check as a director.
