I watched it yesterday. The movie itself was quite good. It had a kind of eerie atmosphere. Some scenes were really disgusting, but that´s what I like about horror movies.
It´s one of those movies you wanna jump into and kick the bad guy´s ass. Almost everything in this movie is perfect - were it not for the end...
What did the director of this movie think when letting Jordana Brewster die? Did he think at all? It was the most disappointing end I´ve ever seen.
I´d only watch it again if there was a DVD with an alternative end among the extra features.

Christian "quick-change artist" Bale
I just came across this picture of "American Psycho" showing Christian Bale with a quite muscular body. And I wondered how he managed to get so slim for "The Machinist" which came out 4 years later?
I remember him saying "I believe in taking care of myself, in a
balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the
morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice
pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand
now." And 4 years later he looks like close-to-death.
Seems like these were just some words in the script or he quickly changed his opinion about body and health. Do you know how he got so slim?

Fido
In Nuremberg, Germany it´s "Fantasy Filmfest"-time again. Tonight I´m going to watch "Fido". It´s a movie about "domesticated" zombies. This caught my attention? What a cool idea for a zombie movie is that?! I read a review about this movie and if someone asked me to explain what it´s about or what you could compare it with, then I´d say: Romero, Dawn of the Dead, Pleasantville, Shaun of the Dead.
In this review I also stumbled over a word I´ve never heard before... "Zom-Com".
I think this is going to be an interesting night at the movies.
Further information: Canada 2006, 91 min.
